The book is available only at the museum’s library.

The book introduces the history and architecture of Wroclaw market halls. The halls in Wrocław at Piaskowa 17 (I) and Kolejowa 43-45 (II) Street were built to a design by Richard Plüddemann and Heinrich Kuster in the years 1906-1908. The large-scale plan started in 1881 by the Wroclaw magistrate to build a complex of market halls located between the center and the city suburbs was partially completed on 5th October 1908, when two almost twin buildings simultaneously started their operation. On the same day, all open markets in the city were closed down.
