We cordially invite to participate in next editions of the HABITATS conference. The invitation is addressed to scholars, PhD researchers, students, architects, activists and any others interested in the cinference subject.’

CONFERENCE’S SUBJECT

The current topic is a continuation of research conducted as a part of the Habitat Scientific School and it is also intended as a summary of its 30-year theoretical and publishing output. The primary research question is: how the Habitat concepts have changed in the natural, cultural and social environment for the last thirty years. The aim of the conference is to present the latest research and studies on the theory of housing architecture as well as ideological and design assumptions of a human life environment.

The conference has an interdisciplinary character, the latest research will be presented in various disciplines regarding Habitat – formation of the housing environment in the architectural, sociological, psychological, technological aspects, etc. The effects of the cyclical conferences of the Scientific School of Habitat are primarily a creation of the theory of residential architecture and its implementations in practical approach.

The issues of the conference include three thematic blocks: the theory of the habitat, architectural practice and housing policy.
